What you'll do

Embark on a 4-day mountaineering adventure to the iconic Mont Blanc summit, the highest peak in Western Europe (4810m). This trip offers the perfect combination of breathtaking scenery, expert-guided training, and an unforgettable climbing experience. Starting from Les Houches, you’ll use cable cars and tramways to reach remote alpine refuges, surrounded by stunning mountain views, where you'll attempt to reach the summit.

Itinerary

Our journey begins at the Les Houches Cable Car park, where we meet at 6 PM. From here, we head to our hostel to settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead. During the evening, we’ll hold a briefing to discuss the program and ensure everyone is ready for the upcoming days. If you did the Monte Rosa Ascent the previous 2 days, this rest day will help you recharge the batteries.
After breakfast at the hostel, we check our mountaineering equipment and pack our backpacks. Around 9 AM, we take the cable car to Bellevue, followed by the famous Mont Blanc Tramway to Nid d’Aigle (2,380 m). From here, we hike for about three hours to reach the Tête Rousse Refuge (3,149 m). In the afternoon, we practice essential mountaineering skills and safety procedures on the nearby glacier. We'll relax with a dinner and overnight stay at the refuge.
We begin early with breakfast at 4 AM and start crossing the Grand Couloir at the safest time (around 5:30-6 AM). We climb to the Gouter Refuge, where we take a break to refuel. Energized, we continue our climb to the Mont Blanc Summit (4,810 m), conquering the highest peak in Western Europe. After soaking in the breathtaking views, we descend to the Gouter Refuge for dinner and an overnight stay, as well as a deserved rest.
Our final day starts with breakfast at 4 AM before we descend to Nid d’Aigle. We board the Mont Blanc Tramway and Cable Car back to Les Houches, where we say our goodbyes and part ways after an incredible adventure in the early afternoon.
