The day kicks off with a climb to Col Seillière (2,900 m / 9,514 ft), with an optional ascent of Monte Granero for epic views. A steep descent leads to Rifugio Granero for lunch, before we enter Val Pellice and the stunning Conca del Prà. Our journey ends at Rifugio Willy Jervis, a place rich in both natural beauty and history, honoring a partisan hero. This trek is more than just a hike...it’s a step through time. At dawn, we leave Rifugio Jervis, crossing Colle dell’Urina back into France and into the untouched beauty of Queyras Natural Park. The trail leads us to Le Roux, a charming village seemingly frozen in time. Day five is the toughest yet, with a long climb to Col Thuras, where the valley below already feels like home. A breathtaking 2,800 m (9,186 ft) ridge trail leads us to Col de Malrif, under the towering Merciantaira (Grand Glaiza). At the summit, we take in stunning views from Monviso to the Ecrins before descending 1,000 m (3,280 ft) to Refuge de Fonts de Cervières.
