Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Reykjavik

Welcome to the land of fire and ice! Upon arrival at Reykjavik Airport (KEF), you'll be picked up and transferred to your accommodation in the Icelandic capital. If your arrival time differs from the guide's, take a public shuttle or cab to Reykjavik. Spend your evening soaking in the vibrant culture and unique atmosphere of the city.

Day 2 - Journey to the Troll Peninsula

We rise early at 6 am and set off towards the stunning Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland. Enjoy breakfast on the road as we drive through Iceland's surreal landscapes. Depending on the weather, we may detour through the Snæfellsnes Peninsula or head directly to Hofsos for some afternoon skiing in Iceland’s picturesque snow. If time permits, unwind at the famous Hofsos infinity pool, with breathtaking views over Skagafjörður and Drangey Island. Our day ends in Siglufjordur, where you'll stay at a charming guesthouse, a perfect spot to immerse yourself in Iceland's rich heritage and skiing culture.

Day 3 - Ski Touring in Iceland’s Fjords

Today, we embark on an unforgettable ski touring adventure above the fjord, gaining altitude as we ascend one of the surrounding summits. The views are spectacular, showcasing the beauty of Iceland's snow-covered peaks. Depending on the group's preference and conditions, there's the option for additional runs or summits. After a day of exhilarating skiing, relax in the local hot water swimming pool, with choices between a sauna or an outdoor jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding after a day in Iceland's snow.

Day 4 - Skiing in Olfjordur

Another day, another fjord! We continue our Iceland ski touring adventure in Olfjordur, followed by a visit to the local swimming pool to ease the day's efforts. The serene atmosphere of Iceland's remote fjords provides a perfect backdrop for a day of skiing.

Day 5 - Exploring Hestur Fjord

Today, we explore the slopes of Hestur Fjord, starting from a small village and climbing a sunlit valley. The Southern exposure offers perfect skiing conditions in Iceland's pristine snow.

Day 6 - Fjord Traverse

Stay another day in this beautiful Icelandic fjord, where we can explore new terrain or attempt a scenic fjord traverse. The untouched snow and dramatic landscapes ensure a memorable day of ski touring in Iceland.

Day 7 - Return to Reykjavik with a Final Ski Run

We start our journey back to Reykjavik, but not before squeezing in one last ski run. The drive back offers more of Iceland's stunning landscapes, and we aim to return to the capital with enough time to enjoy a final evening in Reykjavik.

Day 8 - Departure Day

Sadly, our Iceland ski touring adventure comes to an end. You'll be transferred to the airport based on your flight schedule. Until next time, Iceland!

Guest house and ski Lodge

You will be staying in a guesthouse in Rekjavik on day 1 and 7, in shared rooms (depending on the accommodation, the bathroom facilities may be private or shared). Bed linen, towels and bath towels are provided - pool towels not provided. From day 2 to 6 you'll stay in a cozy ski lodge in the village of Siglufjordur. All meals are served in the lodge, picnic for lunch will be provided by the lodge.
