What you'll do

Hidden in Spain’s rugged countryside, Albarracín is a dream for boulderers. Its unique red sandstone formations provide technical and powerful climbs in a breathtaking natural setting. With problems for all levels, from beginners to elite climbers, it’s a playground of endless possibilities. Mornings bring crisp conditions for the best friction, while evenings invite exploration of the medieval streets and local cuisine. Whether projecting a tough line or enjoying the serene forest, Albarracín blends adventure, culture, and nature into an unforgettable climbing trip.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival & Team Introduction

Meet at the airport, pick up rental cars, and stop at a supermarket for supplies before heading to the accommodation. After settling in, there’s time to relax or explore the town before a welcome dinner in Albarracin to discuss trip goals and get to know each other.

Day 2 - First Climbing Session

Ease into the sandstone boulders with an introduction session at a beginner-friendly sector like Techos or Cabrerizo. The focus is on warming up, getting used to the rock, and tackling fun, classic problems.

Day 3 - Projecting & Beta Sharing

We move to a sector like Peninsula or Arrastradero, working on trickier problems and refining technique. The day is spent climbing, sharing beta, and pushing personal limits.

Day 4 - Strength & Endurance Focus

A day dedicated to building endurance, tackling circuits, and linking problems at Tierra Media or Psicokiller.

Day 5 - Rest Day: Teruel Exploration

A laid-back morning followed by a visit to Teruel, where we explore historical landmarks and enjoy some Spanish tapas. On the way back, we stop at a supermarket for more supplies before returning to Albarracín for a quiet evening.

Day 6 - Power Day & Harder Projects

Recharged from the rest day, we focus on powerful, dynamic climbing at Acantilados or El Valle de la Madera.

Day 7 - Final Climbing & Farewell BBQ

The last full day is spent wrapping up unfinished projects at Sector Parking or El Mirador. In the evening, we celebrate with a final team dinner—either at a restaurant or with a winter BBQ at Stone & Woods, sharing highlights and planning future trips.

Day 8 - Last Climb & Departure

If time allows, we squeeze in a final morning climb before packing up and heading to the airport, ending the trip on a high note.
