Itinerary

Upon arriving in Tromsø, you'll take in the incredible Arctic landscape. Known as the "Gateway to the Arctic," this lively city offers a mix of stunning natural beauty and cultural richness. Surrounded by mountains, fjords, and the Northern Lights, Tromsø sets the perfect tone for your ski touring adventure in the Lyngen Alps.
We start our journey in the nearby Kvaløya Island, a hidden gem for ski touring. Kvaløya offers fantastic runs with breathtaking views over the fjords and the Atlantic Ocean. The varied terrain, from open slopes to forested areas, will challenge and excite both seasoned and new ski tourers alike. We return to Tromsø in the evening to rest up for the next day.
We travel to the southern part of the Lyngen Alps, where endless peaks await. Today, you'll ski some of the most dramatic mountain faces with incredible views over the Lyngenfjord. These slopes provide a mix of steep, exciting descents and wide-open spaces ideal for freeriding. After a full day on the snow, we’ll relax at a cozy lodge in Lyngen.
Today, we head north into the heart of the Lyngen Alps, an iconic destination for ski touring. With towering peaks and deep snow, this area offers some of the best backcountry skiing in Norway. The terrain ranges from smooth snowfields to steep couloirs, giving you a full range of challenges. We return to our base in Lyngen for the night, where you can unwind with stunning views of the fjords.
We shift our focus to the western side of the Lyngen Alps, an area known for its deep snow and untouched runs. This region offers unparalleled off-piste skiing, with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding islands and the sea. The mix of high peaks and fjords makes it a truly unique experience. In the evening, you can relax in a traditional Norwegian lodge and soak in the peaceful Arctic atmosphere.
For your last day of skiing, we’ll take you to another stunning part of the Lyngen Alps. Our guides will select the best route based on weather and snow conditions, ensuring you finish your trip with a thrilling descent. After a rewarding day in the mountains, we return to Tromsø to enjoy one final night in this Arctic paradise.
On your final morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading to the airport for your departure. Reflect on your week of adventure in the Lyngen Alps and the unforgettable memories made during your time in Norway.
