Itinerary

We welcome you to our guest house in Ponte di Legno with a delightful dinner. It's the perfect time to get to know each other and plan the exciting days ahead. Aim to arrive by 6 p.m. to join us.
Our adventure begins with an 8 am breakfast. By 8.45 am, we set off for a 10 minute walk to the lift station in Ponte di Legno. We take the chair lift to the beautiful Valbione hut. After enjoying an espresso, we embark on a 1 hour hike to the ice falls. Along the way, we introduce you to avalanche awareness. Once at the ice falls, we set up a top rope and focus on ice climbing techniques using ice tools like ice axes and crampons. We start on easy angles and gradually move to steeper climbs. By 3 pm, we head back to catch the lift to town.
Today, we build on the skills learned on day two. We continue to improve your technical level on top rope and enhance your confidence with the ice, tools, and belaying skills.
You will be more confident in ice climbing depending on your motivation and ability. We select ice climbs that match your skill level. If you feel ready, you may even try leading a climb.
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye. Departure is before 10 am. We hope to see you again soon!
